Our Partnership with the Canada Homestay Network

We work with students and families on an individual basis to accommodate the specific needs of each and every child considering coming to Canada for school.

All international students are offered accommodations through our partnership with the Canada Homestay Network, one of the largest and most reputable homestay programs in Canada.

The Canada Homestay Program has been providing home away from home arrangements for international students in Canada since 1995.

International students are offered full-service accommodations with host families near each school.

Each host family undergoes rigorous screening and background checks.

Each student is paired carefully with their host family to ensure it is the appropriate home to meet the specific needs of the child.

STEM Montessori Academy of Canada/STEM International Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) provides above and beyond services to our international students. These include the following:

Arranging transportation
Providing meal plans to suit dietary needs and allergies
Providing individualized care and supervision by SMAC-SIAC staff

These services and more ensure every child is given exceptional service while attending school in Canada. Beyond accommodations and logistics, our staff offer individualized support to ensure a smooth adjustment for each child, including accommodation for language barriers and other specific needs.
