Our international program is open to students from grades six to twelve.
We are proud to welcome international students joining us from around the world to our many beautiful Canadian campuses* and online courses.
STEM Montessori Academy of Canada/STEM International Academy of Canada (SMAC-SIAC) works with students and families on an individual basis to accommodate the specific needs of each and every child considering coming to Canada for school.
We provide above and beyond service to our international students, including but not limited to arranging transportation, providing meal plans to suit dietary needs and allergies, and providing individualized care and supervision by SMAC-SIAC staff to ensure each child is given exceptional service while attending school in Canada.
Beyond accommodations and logistics, our staff offer individualized support to ensure a smooth adjustment for each child, including accommodating for language barriers and other specific needs.
* PLEASE NOTE: Due to COVID-19, our international program is taking place virtually (online) only. We will assess the ability to conduct programming in our physical locations as the opportunities arise.
All international students are offered accommodations through our partnership with the Canada Homestay Network, one of the largest and most reputable homestay programs in Canada.
International students will be offered full-service accommodations with host families near each school. Each host family undergoes rigorous screening and background checks. Each student is paired carefully with their host family to ensure it is the appropriate home to meet the specific needs of the child.
